Langton Genealogy is run by Claire Miller and was set up in 2010.  Claire has a wealth of knowledge in forensic genealogy and locating people.  

The business primarily works with solicitors and other organisations, nationally, to help them with the Estate Administration process and Court of Protection matters.  

We’re here to help make processes easier for Executors and Estate Administrators, giving them peace of mind.

Free Estate Administrator Search – If an organisation becomes aware of an intestacy matter and has not been formally instructed, we will carry out a Free Administrator Search and provide contact details for a family member, so that an organisation can be formally instructed.

Family Tree Verification – If you are dealing with an intestacy matter, we can check the information you have and advise if there are areas that may need to be reviewed.  If so, we will provide a quotation and you can decide how you want to proceed. This will give you confidence that an estate has been administered correctly.

Intestacy Estates - We are able to assist with intestacy estates; locating family members, when someone has died intestate and compiling a full family tree to ensure that an estate is distributed correctly.

Missing Beneficiaries - We can assist with locating missing beneficiaries, perhaps someone named in a Will or Trustees, who have changed address or passed away themselves.

Statutory Will Applications – We can help with compiling family trees and locating contact details for Statutory Wills applications.

Tracing Next of Kin – We can assist with locating next of kin for Power of Attorney matters.
