Meet your speakers

Here are your speakers for the 2024 Legal Growth Conference

Tracey Moloney - The Legal Queen

Tracey Moloney - The Legal Queen has built an incredible social media following with over 551k followers on TikTok alone. She’ll join us to share some insight and experience on her journey as a lawyer, her experiences with social media, the impact it's had on her business, what lessons she's learnt, and she’ll be sharing advice for practitioners in the room. She has an incredible following, produces great content and has developed a recognisable brand. It's also really interesting that Tracey's brand is different to the trading name/style of the business so she’ll share how this was done.

Tom Mallens

Tom Mallens

Tom got started in sales more than 10 years ago and despite doing well, he got fed-up with three things:

– Enthusiastic prospects who quickly vanished the minute they got a quote or proposal. 🏃🏻‍♂️💨
– Constant pressure to discount that eroded margins in even our biggest accounts. 💸
– Being treated like a dodgy salesperson, rather than the trusted advisor I wanted to be. 🤝

After years selling raw materials to UK manufacturers and starting my own business, he stumbled onto a copy of David Sandler's book 'You Can't Teach A Kid To Ride A Bike At A Seminar'.

Over the coming months, everything changed. His revenue, profitability and take-home pay went up dramatically. And, more importantly, he started to enjoy selling more than ever.

Today, he work with owners, directors and entrepreneurs who are ambitious and doing well but aware that sales is a bottleneck to growth in their business. Join him for a talk on sales.

Andy Nisevic

Andy Nisevic is the founder & Director of One Degree, a leadership development company specializing in helping SMEs hire, keep and develop highly capable staff.

Before starting One Degree, Andy was a full-time regular in the RAF, for 23-yrs. He was a leader for over 20 years, responsible for developing leaders for over 15-yrs, and in his last role, he was part of the executive team responsible for provision of RAF wide leadership training.

Andy has been a trainer for over 20-yrs, a mentor for over 15, and 2-yrs ago added professional coaching to his skills portfolio. He passionately disagrees with common leadership training that’s accredited to a national qualification. He feels this encourages a “one-size-fits-all” approach that simply doesn’t work. He’s also resolute in his belief that “Leadership & Management” training, when wrapped together is ineffective. They’re 2 completely different skill sets, that require a bespoke approach. The only overlap is they both involve people; it’s like saying that an archaeologist and paleontologist can be trained together because they both involve digging old things up from the ground!

Andy is an advocate of a bespoke, holistic, approach to leadership development that looks at the individual’s reality. Their personality, their communication styles, their strengths portfolio, and those of their team members. He combines training, coaching, mentoring, psychometric assessment, and team performance work to create leaders capable of rising to any leadership challenge. This will give businesses leaders who create cultures where employees feel engaged, and are fulfilled, highly resilient, and high performing.

Kieran Osborne

Chief Executive Officer of Squiggle Consult

Kieran began his career as a Business Relationship Manager with Lloyds Bank, but in 2017 was made redundant. He was headhunted by an accountancy firm to open a legal arm of their business and this triggered an interest in Estate Planning.

He began to think about the bigger picture and started looking more closely at the gap in the market.

It was clear to him there was a need for proactive legacy planning; a need for someone who could really talk to people about what their hopes were for their loved ones after they have gone.

In June 2017 he formed Squiggle, gaining valuable experience in a wide range of legal disciplines, however focusing mainly on Estate Planning.

Throughout his career, he has developed a significant wealth of experience helping clients with a whole range of issues from wills and estates to complex tax planning for high net worth individuals, and financial advice through one of his many trusted partners.

Kieran has also set up a charity called Squiggle Giving and has developed an app for instruction taking which has reduced the time it takes to draft legal documents and increased the amount of time his team can spend with their clients.
